If you are a heavy Facebook user then the “News” also might be coming to you. The curated news was already available in the US and is being rolled out to the UK users soon. One sided news might be a thing because of this curated news from a set of sources which are part of this Facebook program.
Remember Angelina Jolie curving a bullet in Wanted ? Now you can do that with a Nerf gun. Might not be a huge curve unless there is a favourable wind.
With the recent investment by Facebook in Jio, one would have assumed there would be some kind of collaboration between the two. If you did then you were right and its here in the form of WhatsApp + JioMart. The latter wants to use the reach of the former and further their business by utilizing the ease that the former offers. By integrating Jio, WhatsApp also gets to push their commerce features to the masses. Let’s wait and see how this progresses in the next months given the recent privacy issues of WhatsApp.
Movies / Music
Yet another postponement for Bond series’ latest flick “No Time To Die”. Now delayed to 8th Oct, the announcement sparked a barrage of memes. One such sample is below. Oh and expect another round of delays after this.
Oh and there is this small matter of a trailer being released for Kong vs Godzilla. You can check out the trailer in this playlist.
